Holt, Rinehart, and Winston products with Intervention assess, remediate, and re-assess mastery of concepts and skills.
Intervention products include 3 key components:
A pre-test, assigned by the teacher.
One or more tutorial activities to address weaknesses identified by the pre-test. (Enrichment may be available if no weaknesses are identified.)
A post-test to reassess mastery.
To view pre- and post-test results, choose Reports and choose an Intervention report.
In Auto-Assign mode, Holt Online Assessment automatically assigns tutorials and post-tests based on pre-test results to individual students. This is the default mode.
To turn Auto-Assign off, or to adjust the score that triggers Intervention assignments, go to Preferences.
If Auto-Assign is off, the intervention system does not deliver tutorial assignments and post-tests to students. Pre-test results are still available, and intervention suggestions are provided.
