After you log in to Holt Online Learning, your My Subscriptions page appears, with a list of the Holt, Rinehart and Winston online textbooks you have registered.
Holt Online Assessment provides tests and quizzes associated with your Holt, Rinehart and Winston textbooks. You can assign these tests and quizzes to your students to complete online. You can score the assignments, track student and class progress, and export this information to a spreadsheet.
To use Holt Online Assessment, you must have created at least one class in the Class Manager. To create a class, return to the My Subscriptions page and choose Add a Class.
From the Holt Online Learning My Subscriptions page, click Assignments. The Holt Online Assessment Welcome page appears.
Before assigning work for your students, set your Preferences and Calendar.
To assign work to your students, click Assignments. Depending on your textbook, assignments options may include:
Tests and quizzes provided by Holt, Rinehart and Winston.
Your own assignments, created and uploaded with ExamView 4.0 or higher.
Intervention pre-tests, which assess mastery of skills or standards and assign content to address individual needs.
Click Calendar to monitor online assignment due dates.
Click Reports to view student performance.
Click Preferences to modify how Holt Online Assessment works for you.

Note: The Class, Book, Category, and Grade you choose remain the same when you go from one page to another. For example, if you choose "Period 1" and "Middle School Math Course 3" while working on the Assignments page, then click the Reports tab, the content of the Reports page is displayed for the same class and book.
